Mace or Javitri grown in Kerala using traditional farming techniques is now delivered to you in its purest form by us. Mace is the outer shell of nutmeg fruit and is strongly aromatic, resinous, and warm in taste. Whole dried mace is preferred by chefs as they can grind them as needed especially in non-vegetarian dishes and biryani making. Mace spice enhances the colour, taste, and flavour of foods. It can also be used in cakes, pastries, donuts, curries, soups cream sauces, and other sweet recipes. Store it in airtight containers in a cool dark place. Naturally grown mace will change its colour over a few weeks from red to yellow as it dries up.
Mace keeps your digestive system healthy. It has traditionally been used as a remedy for numerous digestive complaints including diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and nausea. Mace is also believed to be a stress buster and it even increases your appetite.
